Dr. Bobby Park

Chief Medical Officer

Dr. Bobby Park is RelyMD’s Chief Medical Officer and brings more than 16 years of clinical experience to RelyMD. He is responsible for overseeing the care that is provided to our patients.

Dr. Park led the charge in 2015 to start RelyMD after helping his niece assess a hand injury via a video phone call. Together with Wake Emergency Physicians, PA (WEPPA), Dr. Park helped write virtual clinical guidelines, build out a telemedicine platform, and assemble a team of physicians to staff the service 24/7 for the patients of the greater Raleigh area.

Prior to launching RelyMD, Dr. Park has worked as an emergency medicine physician for 16 years at WakeMed Health & Hospitals and continues to treat patients in-person along with continuing to staff the RelyMD service.

In addition to overseeing the medical care delivered by RelyMD providers, Dr. Park leads the company’s efforts in recognizing where RelyMD’s telehealth services can be applied in the current medical landscape and then how to deploy it in the most efficient manner possible. He helps lead the development of specialized use cases (EMS, post-acute care, etc.) and strategically directs customers and partners down roads towards clinical success dependent on specific patient populations.

Dr. Park received his Medical Doctorate from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in 1998. He completed his medical residency and fellowship at Alameda County Medical Center Highland Hospital in Oakland, California.
